Reggy Brown @ TTPTG

Our wonderful Reggy @reggyrooo shared her Mexican heritage with us last week, by teaching trainees to a cook a hearty meal featuring:
- Fajitas de Pollo (chicken fajitas)
- Arroz Mexicano (Mexican rice)
- Frijoles de la Olla (pinto beans) &
- Tortillas Maíz Azul (blue corn tortillas)

Whilst wearing her abuela's apron, Reggy taught us about revolution, community and the current political situation for migrants in America. Reggy has raised money for @icwclaw at multiple DJ gigs and continues to support communities locally and in the states. Our discussions of grief and memorialisation throughout the day lead us to organise our next cook-up with Reggy and the trainees on the week of "Dias el meurtos" aka day of the dead. so keep your eyes peeled for Mexican specials on the board that week.
