Over the last 18 months we have come to realise the young people we support benefit from working on a regular basis in a professional environment and that cooking and serving lovely customers on a daily basis helps us move them into sustainable employment more readily, Which of course is our ultimate goal here at The Perfect Place to Grow.

With this in mind we have decided to open a café, Tuesday-Friday, to help teach, train and support the young people – and, if you all come down, support us and hopefully enjoy what we are doing – we will also open Saturdays in the near future. The cafe celebrates the diversity of modern British influences – cooked and served with our trainees.

It will be open to you all between 9-3pm (Tuesday-Friday) and will be filled with food from all over the world, from breakfasts to curries, cooked with love by fantastic local and international chefs (and of course the trainees) celebrating what we believe is the incredible diversity of both Margate and the UK.
