TPPTG FROZEN READY MEALS

Last Thursday, we welcomed the community into the training café to sample the first of our new frozen ready meals. Many of you may already have tried Zain’s Chickpea Masala at the TPPTG café, and we’re excited to share that it’s now available to buy as a frozen ready meal to enjoy at home.

Over the past few months, our trainees have been working alongside East Kent College’s Innovation Kitchen (@ekc_innovationkitchen), funded by Thanet District Council, to develop Zain’s Chickpea Masala and ensure it meets all the requirements for safe freezing and home enjoyment.

The meals are now available to purchase from the TPPTG cafe during our regular opening hours: Tuesday–Friday, 9am–3pm. A massive thank you to EKC and to everyone who came along, chatted with us, sampled the chickpea masala, and took some home. We’re so excited to continue working with our trainees on more recipes and to provide nutritious, high-quality meals to the Margate community.
