Margate Death Cafe is a peer-led space for sharing and exploring grief, bereavement and loss. Whatever your experience of death is, we welcome you.

What is a death cafe?

A death cafe is an informal gathering of people who come together to talk about their personal experiences related to death. It's a place to share your views, learn from others and find connection and belonging among people with shared experiences.

We begin with a group introduction and then split off into smaller discussions.

Conversations will be supported by our facilitators, who are there to help ensure everyone can feel comfortable and has space to engage.

PLEASE NOTE: Doors open at 6pm and the cafe begins at 630. If you are going to be late please let us know in advance if possible. Eventbrite link below:
